Elections Ontario will accept updates to the Permanent Register of Electors of Ontario, which is the list from which members of the Assembly will be randomly-drawn.

The selection process for choosing Assembly Members begins.

July 14, 2006

The selection process for choosing Assembly Members ends.

September 2006 to May 2007

The Assembly’s scheduled activities:

• Learning Phase (Sept – Nov 2006)
     Education about electoral systems
• Consulting Phase (Nov 2006 – Feb 2007)
     Public hearings and written submissions
• Deliberation Phase (Feb – April 2007)
     Deciding what to recommend
• Report (May 2007)

May 15, 2007

The Assembly submits its report to the Government of Ontario.
