Just one more weekend of selection meetings left

Twelve members of the Assembly were selected at meetings in Cornwall, Orillia and Ottawa this weekend.

“I’ve always thought there were ways to improve our electoral system, now we’ve got the chance to do something about it,” said Peter Warren, representing the riding of Nepean-Carleton who was selected at a meeting in Ottawa on Saturday.

The twelve members selected this weekend include: David Proulx (Stormont-Dundas-Charlottenburgh), Roxanne Taillon (Glengarry-Prescott-Russell) Georgette Amadio (Simcoe North), Karl Cadera (Barrie-Simcoe-Bradford), Elaine Pommer (Simcoe Grey), Carl Berger (Ottawa West-Nepean), Tara Currie (Ottawa Centre), Christopher Doody (Ottawa-Vanier), Maureen Grace (Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke), Bruon Steinke (Lanark-Carleton), Thomas Taylor (Ottawa-Orléans), John Townesend (Ottawa South) and Peter Warren (Nepean-Carleton).
